The HAND

The HAND is an open-source wrist and knuckle brace designed to restrict wrist and knuckle mobility to that of the average person.
So, originally this project was going to be called the HypeAss (hypermobility assistor), but it was changed to the HAND (hypermobility assistance device) due to.... this potentially being used for applying to colleges. I was very much in need of a wrist brace, writing and drawing were actually physically painful, which lead to my writing being less than legible, but I only (relatively) recently discovered the cause, hypermobility. In the first round of testing, I wrote without pain for the first time, ever. This project is absolutely important to me in that regard- it's honestly a new experience for me.
